DO HAIR EXTENSIONS DAMAGE YOUR HAIR?

This is one of the most commonly asked question. If hair extensions are applied and removed correctly by a professional extensionist, hair extensions should not cause any damage to your hair or scalp. However, you can experience damage from not caring for them correctly, leaving them in for too long or not following the aftercare guidelines given.

HOW LONG WILL MY EXTENSIONS LAST?

Depending on what brand you choose and how you look after your extensions such as following the right aftercare and the up keep of your maintenance, hair extensions can last between 9- 18 months if you choose a reusable method.

We have a wide range of services such as Tapes, Micro & Nano Rings, Pre-bonds, Weaves which are most popular. In addition we offer Custom Wigs, Hair Integration systems for women and men and braiding.


DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?

Consultations are a great way for us to understand your hair needs in more detail and also allow us to see what is exactly required. Are services are tailor-made so this will give us an opportunity to look at what length, thickness and other factors to provide you with the perfect product and service.

 

WHICH TREATMENTS REQUIRE A PATCH TEST?

All hair colouring services require a 48hr patch test. This is for us to enable whether you have any allergic reactions to our products.


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO APPLY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

The amount of time it takes to apply hair extensions can vary from method to method.

As a guide: Tapes up to 40mins, Micro & Nano Rings up to 2hrs, Pre-Bonds up to 3hrs & Weaves up to 1hr.

 

ARE HAIR EXTENSIONS EXPENSIVE?

Hair extensions can seem costly in the initial outlay. You will also need to take into consideration certain factors such as brand, length, thickness, method and ongoing maintenance. We do however have different options to suit your budget which we will discuss with you at your consultation. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This will give you plenty of time to check in, use the toilet, fill out our client questionnaire and enjoy looking at magazine or a light refreshment. This is so that your appointment does not delay following clients.

We will do everything we can to accommodate late arrivals, however depending on the treatment in some circumstances, your appointment may have to be rescheduled.


HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT THE SALON?

Booking an appointment is simple. To book your slot, contact us by phone on 01279902976 or email on info@strictlyxtended.co.uk or you can also book via our Strictly Xtended app. Please be aware that our hair extension services may require a consultation and is charged a fee of £36 which will come off your balance if you go ahead or be deducted of any other service.

 
 

 
 

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Should you wish to cancel an appointment, we will fully refund any deposit paid, providing that you notify us of your intention to cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment time. If you miss your appointment or provide us with less than 48 hours’ notice of your intention to cancel, your deposit will not be refunded. In unavoidable circumstances, we may need to rearrange or cancel your booking. In these instances, we will liaise with you to arrange a new appointment or treatment at a convenient time.
