HAIR SALON BOUTIQUE GUIDELINES

Social distancing measures are in place throughout to reduce the number of people you would be in contact with at any given time. We have extended our opening hours and staggered appointment times. Where possible, you will be looked after by one person throughout your visit.

Strictly Xtended’s team follows a strict code of hygiene inside and out of the salon. Every piece of equipment that your stylist may use will be cleaned before your visit. We will be cleaning equipment throughout the day between every client for your safety. Our rigorous cleaning schedule includes disinfecting the entire salon regularly, sanitising chairs, backwashes, hairdressing tools and electronic devices.

The safety of our team and those around us is our top priority. All our team wear a protective mask and single-use apron as well as washing their hands when they enter the salon and in between every client appointment.

Our team members will also have their temperatures checked each day when they arrive so we can ensure no one working in the hair salon boutique has a fever.

Virtual Consultations are available to help us tailor your hair salon boutique appointment to your exact needs. We will be recommending you to book a Virtual Consultation ahead of coming to our hair salon boutique if possible.

If you or anyone you have been in contact with has cold or flu symptoms, or has travelled overseas in the last 14 days, please stay at home and kindly contact us to reschedule your appointment at a later date. If you are in a higher risk group, please speak to our team who will recommend quieter times for your visit.

CLIENT GUIDELINES

Important safety precautions

We ask that you arrive when your appointment is scheduled to start and not earlier. For safety, we are limiting the number of people in the hair salon boutique at any one time so there will not be a waiting area inside.

We kindly ask that you show up for your visit alone unless you need to bring a parent, guardian, or carer.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to rebook your appointment for another time as we need to stick to timings very carefully to make sure there are not too many people in the salon. A member of our team will advise whether you need to be rebooked or if your appointment can begin later.

You will be asked to complete a COVID-19 health and safety questionnaire 24 hours before your visit. If you haven’t completed one, you’ll be asked to do so, we need every client to answer these questions so we can keep everyone safe.

When you arrive at the hair salon boutique please wait outside or in your car until a member of staff calls you inside as we are operating on a one in one out policy. This also gives us time to disinfect and sanitise.

Prior to attending we ask that you use a face mask, this is not mandatory however, if you don’t have one not to worry as we can provide you with one.

Upon arrival you will have your temperature checked. There will also be hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to use this when you first enter the salon.

You will need to keep your belongings to a minimum when you visit. Please bring a plastic bag to store your coat and handbag while having your appointment. This will ensure they stay safe and clean and no one else needs to touch them.

When we are discussing your hair needs, please speak via the mirror so that we limit face to face communication. When washing your hair, we ask for you to use a mask at the basin.

Magazines have also been removed from because they are handled by multiple people as it’s impossible for us to clean every magazine page between clients. You may however bring your own books, tablets or magazines & use our plugs at your station to plug in and log on to our wifi.

COVID 19 PAYMENTS GUIDELINES

We also have an option for you to create an account and top up, as and when needed. If you would like to tip your hair specialist, you will be able to do this with your card and they will receive the tip directly in their wages.

We would like to emphasise this will be removed once we can return to working at full capacity and with reduced PPE.
